// Coaching the men who don't accept default. NPC national-level competitor based in Owings Mills, MD. Currently chasing the IFBB Pro card while building a roster of serious athletes and committed professionals.
I'm Ronnie Wilson, founder of Ronnie Wilson Coaching and a fitness coach with over 10 years of experience in training, nutrition, and performance. But before I was a coach, I was a soldier. I served in the United States Army, where I learned what discipline, sacrifice, and mental toughness really look like, not in a gym, but in the field, under pressure, when it counts. That foundation never left me.
When I came home, I faced a different kind of battle. Severe mental illness that was real, dark, and at times felt impossible to climb out of. Fitness became my lifeline. The one place I could show up, control something, and prove to myself every single day that I still had more in the tank. I didn't just survive that chapter, I grew from it, and it shaped everything about the way I coach.
Today I run Ronnie Wilson Coaching, where I work with clients one-on-one to build custom training plans, dial in nutrition, and develop the mindset that actually makes change stick. I bring over a decade of hands-on experience to every client I work with, but more than that, I bring a level of empathy and real-world understanding that you can only earn by going through it yourself.
And through all of it, my biggest motivation is my 8-year-old daughter. She keeps me grounded, keeps me driven, and reminds me every day why showing up, fully, consistently, without excuses, is everything. If you're looking for a coach who has been in the trenches, literally and figuratively, and who is going to show up for you the way I show up for everything in my life, let's get to work.
// Discipline is the cost of freedom. Standards are the cost of results.
// Most coaches sell hope. I sell standards. The men I work with don't need motivation — they need a coach who will tell them the truth on Sunday at 7am check-in and the same truth at 11pm before bed.
// Programming is engineered around your real life: your job, your family, your gym. Nutrition is calorie-counted, not vibes. Posing is rehearsed until you own the lights. Check-ins are weekly and non-negotiable.
// If you want to be coddled, this isn't it. If you want to look like you actually train — apply.
// Every macro, every set, every peak-week tweak is calculated and accountable.
// Programming survives travel, salary jobs, and 5:30am alarms.
// The bar is the NPC stage. Everything we do reflects that bar.
